MEI Appoints Chris Mumford as Americas Vending Sales Director
WEST CHESTER, Pa., August 17, 2006 – MEI, the leading provider of unattended payment acceptance systems used worldwide, has appointed Chris Mumford as Americas Vending Sales Director. In his new role, Mumford will be responsible for Full Line, Amusement and Bottling sales in North and South America.
Mumford returns to the United States after a two-year assignment in Europe, where he served as MEI's European Gaming Director. During this time, he was responsible for significantly growing MEI’s Amusement With Prizes business, expanding our product portfolio, and developing new business opportunities in Russia, Europe, and South Africa. Prior to his European assignment, Mumford was MEI’s National Sales Manager for the U.S. "I am very pleased to return to the vending, bottling and amusement markets in the Americas during such a critical time,” Mumford says. “The equipment landscape is changing, and I welcome the opportunity to help MEI bring maximum value to its operators."
Mumford joined MEI in 1991. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA in marketing from DePaul University in Chicago. He will relocate near MEI's global headquarters in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
